Executive Team


JACKY HABIB, Founder, Chief Adventurer
Jacky Habib is a freelance journalist and producer who has contributed to the CBC, Canadian National Film Board and National Post. She worked as a media trainer in Ghana for Journalists for Human Rights and was a TV reporter in Kenya for Nation Media Group. She is a 2015 fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs- Canada and a 2016-2017 Fellow of the Aga Khan Foundation Canada. Jacky holds a Bachelors of Journalism, Honours and a certificate in Nonprofit Management, both from Ryerson University. 

 


NANA BOAKYE-YIADOM, Programs Director
Nana Boakye-Yiadom is the Deputy Director of News Programming at Citi FM in Ghana. He is the founder of iJourno Africa, a media training initiative focused on data journalism. Nana is a Ghana correspondent for The New York Times, Agence France-Presse and Radio France International. His story on how SMS technology is helping farmers in Ghana was the winner of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Africa Story Challenge (Food Security Category, 2013). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and English from the University of Ghana.
